The aniseed flavour of these delicious sweets is provided by aniseed oil, which coats the inside of the ball. To make the sweet harder, we coat each ball with sugar crystals and then press an entire rapeseed into the centre. This gives a lovely texture and flavour to the sweet that lasts for a long time in the mouth before dissolving
